Expanding the possibility of 3D rendering and animation in the embedded environment with limited resources
One of the world's smallest 3D graphics engines, MascotCapsule nano specializes in displaying 3D graphics in the environment where hardware resources are limited compared to mobile phones.
It has been difficult to make use of 3D graphics on embedded environment. Fluorescent display tubes and small LCD displays on embedded devices tend to have low-resolution and low-specification compared to mobile phones. However, MascotCapsule nano virtually generates multiple-tone display (*1) to represent dimension and depth, even in the environment with limited tones.
MascotCapsule nano enables expressive 3D representation, for example, on the following embedded devices:
- PC peripheral devices
- Printer, scanners
- Car electronics
- Large size LCD remote controllers
|
- Barcode scanners
- Handheld toys
- POS cashier
- Other digital consumer devices

MascotCapsule nano Features
- Specifications
- Supports a wide variety of low-end CPUs on embedded devices
- Capable of flexibly supporting various display (luminescence) methods in the hardware, because the color information is not used
(Capable of supporting single-color electroluminescence displays, etc.)
- Capable of smooth animations even in the environment where data transfer speed is low
- Restricts memory usage to a minimum, by representing light and dark surfaces using density of dots instead of color or light intensity, and by limiting the frame buffer depth to 1 bit, etc.
