HI provides EMOBILE with MascotCapsule® for its
audio terminal H11T
HI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazuo Kawabata hereinafter "HI") announced today that HI's real-time 3D rendering engine MascotCapsule has been adopted for H11T and will be released from EMOBILE Ltd.(Headquarters:Shin-Nikko Bldg., 10-1 Toranomon, 2-chome Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director, Chairman & CEO Sachio Semmoto) on March 28.
By adopting MascotCapsule, H11T can utilize various content assets developed for V3 while utilizing a high speed 3D rendering process by GPU (*1) at a maximum. At the same time, it can also use JSR184 (*3), which is the international standard API (*2) adopted in V4.

HI will actively provide EMOBILE terminals with MascotCapsule and technical support in the future.
*1 GPU
Abbreviation for Graphics Processing Unit, an IC that performs calculations required for rendering 3D graphics to assist the main CPU.

Abbreviation for Application Programming Interface, an inlet for applications for using functions provided by OS and programming languages and commonly used by many pieces of software such as file control, window control, image processing and character control. In many cases, it is provided as a set of functions.

Mobile 3D graphics API for J2ME™ ( Java 2 Micro Edition: Java2 function set for embedded devices such as home electronics, handheld terminals and cell phones).
