HI CORPORATION Provides MascotCapsule® to KTF of South Korea

HI CORPORATION (head office: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Kazuo Kawabata; hereafter "HI") announced today that the company has concluded an agreement with KTF, a major South Korean mobile communication manufacturer (head office: Seoul, South Korea; hereafter "KTF") for HI to provide MascotCapsule® V3 for KTF's mobile handsets; content based on this engine is already in distribution in South Korea.

KTF provides a wide range of mobile communication services in South Korea. Playing online games on mobile handsets has been widely adopted there, and more than 50 companies, including a major South Korean content provider, have developed content based on MascotCapsule® V3. By the end of 2005, more than 30 titles based on this engine will be released.

Additionally, the global 3D market will be expanded by South Korean content providers who are eager to extend deployment of their titles abroad. Under this agreement, more than 30 million handsets loaded with MascotCapsule® V3 will be released by December 2005.
