HI Corp. Launches 3D Engine for SK Telecom of South Korea.

Tokyo, Japan -HI CORPORATION (Headquarter: Meguro Ward, Tokyo; CEO: Kazuo Kawabata) today announced an agreement to provide its MascotCapsule® V3 3D graphics engine for SK Telecom's (Headquarter: Seoul, Korea) mobile devices.

SK Telecom, with the largest market share, is considered to be the top telecommunications company in South Korea.

Mobile on-line gaming has grown extensively in popularity throughout South Korea. Already as many as 50 content providers are engaged in developing 3D games based on HI's MascotCapsule engine.

Thanks to this new partnership between SK Telecom and HI, content providers in South Korea are establishing HI's MascotCapsule as the standard for all mobile 3D content in the country. And as these content providers expand globally, it is expected that MascotCapsule will receive even further worldwide recognition in the 3D contents market.

By Decemeber 2005, over 5 million handsets equipped with the MascotCapsule V3 are expected to be sold in South Korea.
