HI and Bandai Networks Begin Providing Services
for Mitsubishi's Overseas i-mode Mobile Phones

Tokyo, Japan - HI CORPORATION (Headquarter: Meguro-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Kazuo Kawabata) and BANDAI NETWORKS CO.,LTD (Headquarter: Chiyoda-ku,Tokyo, CEO: Satoshi Oshita) today announced support for Mitsubishi Electric Corporation's newly developed NTT Docomo i-mode compatible model M403i handset, targeted for overseas markets. The contract was concluded between Bandai Networks and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation.

The M403i mobile handset, equiped with HI's Mascot Capsule® V3 3D graphics engine jointly developed by HI and Bandai Networks, is presently being geared for the Overseas market.

Additionally, HI's Mascot Capsule® V3 engine will become a component of the NTT Docomo standard DoJa2.5oe (Overseas Edition) software, enabling Japanese domestic as well as global content providers to produce DoJa-compatible 3D content for mobile phones on a global basis. This will further increase global deployment of 3D content and further extends the global leadership position of HI's Mascot Capsule® platform.
