HI Corp. Launches 3D Engine
For Sanyo Global Mobile Devices
Tokyo, Japan - HI Corporation (Headquarter: Meguro Ward, Tokyo, CEO: Kazuo Kawabata) today announces a licensing contract with Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd (Headquarter: Moriguchi-city, Osaka, CEO and COO: Yukinori Kuwano) to provide HI's flagship Mascot Capsule Engine™ for rendering 3D graphics on mobile devices onto Sanyo's global mobile devices for overseas markets. The first of such devices embedding Mascot Capsule Engine™ is a 3G handset for both Orange of Europe and SmarTone of Hong-Kong.
HI's Mascot Capsule Engine™ dominates with 100% market share in Japan with significant 3D contents powered by the Mascot Capsule Engine™. With this latest licensing agreement, HI extends its leadership position in mobile 3D and furthers its global reach in 3D contents based on Mascot Capsule Engine™.
