Quattro Media, Bandai America, and HI Corp jointly
distribute 3D games to Verizon Wireless (U.S.) handsets
December 24, 2004 (Tokyo, Japan)-Quattro Media Corporation ("Quattro Media") announced today that the company would begin joint distribution of 3D games with Bandai America Incorporated ("Bandai America," Cypress, Calif., U.S.A.) on December 29, 2004 (U.S. time). Marking its initial distribution to Verizon Wireless, Quattro Media will release Winning Lap, a 3D auto racing game jointly authored by HI Corporation ("HI"). Additional title releases are planned in the future.
Winning Lap utilizes HI's 3D rendering engine Mascot Capsule® to supply beautiful, game-console quality 3D graphics in the 3D auto racing game for exciting play that surpasses the conventional 2D game experience. Quattro Media anticipates that the game will gain much attention from U.S. mobile content users. The game price is $3.75 per month, or $6.25 for an outright purchase.
