HI CORPORATION and Bandai Networks to Supply
First Mobile 3D Mobile Content for FET, Taiwan
HI CORPORATION (Head Office: Meguro-Ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Kazuo Kawabata, hereafter 'HI') and Bandai Networks Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-Ku, Tokyo; CEO: Satoshi Oshita, hereafter 'Bandai Networks') announced that the companies will begin supplying popular Japanese Java? game series "3D Appli Selection" (3D-遊戯専区 in Chinese) on September 22, 2003, to "Super i-style", the mobile internet service instituted by Taiwan·fs mobile phone carrier, Far EasTone Telecommunications Co., Ltd (hereafter FET). These are the first 3D games to debut on Super i-style. The initial lineup of three 3D mobile games, "3D Darts," "3D Bass Fishing," and "3D Boxing" will be supplied
"Super i-style" is a next-generation GPRS-based mobile Internet service initiated by FET in June 2002 that enriches the excitement of customers of mobile activities. The service with Java applications and MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) allows users to enjoy quick and handy wireless access anytime, anywhere. Users can download various ring tones, standby screens, and games.
A new game is expected to appear every month.
The following provides summary descriptions of the three games, "3D Darts," "3D Bass Fishing," and "3D Boxing".
