HI CORPORATION Participates in the ARM Primexsys Community Program
Demonstrates support of the PrimeXsys solution as a development platform for 3D content developers
TOKYO, JAPAN - Nov. 6, 2002 - Mobile 3D rendering technology pioneer HI CORPORATION (head office: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Kazuo Kawabata; paid-in capital: 260.50 million yen; (http://www.hicorp.co.jp), announced its decision to participate in the ARM PrimeXsys Community Program, which comprises independent IP vendors working to develop IP products based on the ARM PrimeXsys Platform. The Program was recently announced by ARM (head office: Cambridge, UK; Japanese subsidiary: Kohoku-ku, Yokohama-shi; president: Takio Ishikawa). The PrimeXsys Platform is an open-architecture platform to provide verified hardware and software products as well as verification tools to developers. HI CORPORATION will offer its software 3D rendering engine Mascot Capsule Engine Micro3D Edition to support it.
The PrimeXsys Community Program is part of the ARM Partnership Program, and provides an enhanced framework for developers who utilize the PrimeXsys Platform. HI CORPORATION will participate in the Program with support for Mascot Capsule Engine Micro 3D Edition. As a consequence, HI CORPORATION will be able to add the ARM PrimeXsys Platform as a supported platform for developers working to develop 3D content rendered by Mascot Capsule Engine.
